A Letter From Our Founder & Chairman of the Board
When I graduated college in 1985 and began my career, I had a simple goal, to help people make better financial decisions and build a more secure future for their families.
I could never have imagined where that journey would lead.
Over the past 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible individuals and families, many of whom I’ve known for decades. Together, we’ve navigated changing markets, life transitions, and long-term goals. Along the way, something even more meaningful developed, relationships built on trust, shared experiences, and a commitment to doing what’s right.
As the years went on, I came to realize that financial planning is about more than numbers. It’s about helping families reach financial independence and then guiding them in preserving that independence for generations to come.
That philosophy became the foundation of my life’s work.
Today, as I reflect on this 40-year journey, I’m proud to share something deeply personal, the release of my third book, “The Generational Wealth Code: A Tax-Smart Roadmap to Financial Independence.”
This book is different from anything I’ve written before.
I had the unique opportunity to co-author it with my three children, who have each chosen to follow this same path as financial advisors, CPAs, and CFP® professionals. Watching them grow into this profession and embrace the same values has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
Together, we’ve captured not just strategies and ideas, but a philosophy. A way of thinking about money, family, and legacy that has been shaped over four decades.
For me, this represents something bigger than a book.
It represents continuity.
It represents the confidence that the work we’ve done together and the mission we share will continue well into the future. That the same guidance, care, and commitment you’ve come to expect will carry on through the next generation.
And perhaps most importantly, it reflects what I’ve always believed: That true wealth is not just what you build, but what you pass on through values, knowledge, and opportunity.
To all of you who have been part of this journey, thank you. Your trust and partnership have made these past 40 years incredibly meaningful.
