In this update, the Recession Risk Dashboard remains in expansionary territory overall, with Profit Margins improving from a cautionary signal back to expansionary territory.
Despite higher energy prices and ongoing geopolitical tensions, consumer spending and corporate investment have remained resilient. Strong earnings, healthy retail sales, and continued business investment continue to support the economic outlook and provide a solid foundation for equity markets.
Currently, the dashboard reflects 11 expansionary indicators and only 1 recessionary indicator, supporting an overall outlook for continued economic growth.
