Cristian J. Kocurek, E.A., MBA is a Supervising Senior Accountant at Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group, bringing more than a decade of public accounting experience to the firm. Since joining Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group in 2019, Cristian has played an important role in delivering tax planning, tax preparation, and accounting services to individuals and businesses.
Cristian earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration through St. John's University's five-year MBA program. He began his public accounting career with a regional CPA firm, where he spent more than five years providing tax, accounting, and assurance services. During his time there, Cristian worked extensively with medical practices while also preparing audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse range of clients. He later joined another public accounting firm specializing in high-net-worth individuals and families, further expanding his experience in complex tax planning and compliance.
Since joining Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group, Cristian has continued to build his expertise in tax strategy and client service. In recognition of his contributions to the firm and leadership within the accounting team, he was promoted to Supervising Senior Accountant in 2025.

He works closely with the firm's advisors and accounting professionals to deliver coordinated, tax-smart strategies that support each client's long-term financial objectives.
