John J. Vento Jr., CPA, CFP® is the President and Managing Partner of Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group, where he leads the firm’s tax and accounting division. With more than a decade of experience at the firm, he brings deep expertise in accounting, finance, and tax planning.

John Jr. began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP after earning dual degrees in accounting and finance from Quinnipiac University and went on to obtain his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) credential, as well as his securities registrations and insurance license and is a co-author of The Generational Wealth Code: A Tax-Smart Roadmap to Financial Independence.

He has a master’s degree in taxation from Rutgers University and now serves as the firm’s lead professional on evolving tax laws. His insight and leadership have been instrumental in positioning the firm as a trusted provider of comprehensive tax smart financial guidance. With his specialization in tax-smart strategies as a CPA and CFP®, John Jr. helps clients turn financial data into actionable strategies that grow and optimize both their business and personal finances.

He is also an accomplished speaker, having presented tax-smart strategies for the American Dental Association and the Greater New York Dental Meeting, and having served as a keynote speaker for Accounting Today webinars attended by thousands of CPAs, enrolled agents, and financial planners on the new tax laws under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
